Woven Colours

I've tried some weaving today (well, if I'm allowed to call it "weaving" though) as part of my experiment on colours, materials and texture.

I used magazine shreds, fabric shroud by hand and rope made of paper.

It was a real fun, those only found objects could become a casual piece of art when it's properly framed and hung on the wall :)

Fingers Crossed

Today I decoated a screen and mended the wooden frame.

I could never get rid of this ghostly mark... annoying...!!!

This is photo-emulsion I use, it's from Germany. Getting a bit old though... 5 months after the pot was opened. Let's see how it works...!

Cotton -> Thread -> Fabric ... and a Lot of Labour

The first cotton ever grown and cropped in my garden (by my mother)! This should be real organic cotton (I guess) and I thank all the people who make my cotton fabric out of this...just amazing!
