Do You Like Frogs?

New design "Frog" has been done and I'll make some cushion covers out of those fabrics tomorrow.

Each frog was cut out by hand so they are all unique! I just hope there are many frog lovers out there... :)

You are very patient to cut out all those frogs! Do you use the black paper to expose your screen?

Hi Jacqui,
Yes, I use the black paper for exposing the screen, it's a very old fashioned and/or simple way, isn't it? :)

You are not alone in this - I understand that Rob Ryan does it this way as well as he does paper cuts anyway. Have you heard of him?
I have a giveaway on my Venetian Blue blog if you are interested.

Hitomi, I think you are crazy!!! the frogs look amazing and I can't believe you cut out each one!! how small is each frog? I thought I was patient - apparently my patience doesn't match up to yours :D

Tell more about this black paper. Never heard of that technique.

I am a big fan of Rob Ryan!! :)

The frogs are quite small, maybe 1 1/2 in. each? I know, I am surprised how patient I am when I got this done! :)

The black paper is just a piece of usual black paper, I used it for covering the positive part of my design, instead of using film/paper print-out. As Jacqui said, British artist Rob Ryan makes exquisite paper cut outs out of his illustration, which is really amazing!
